HORSEBACK RIDES
Rent well-trained horses and ride along with professional instructors who will focus on your first-time riders, beginners, and kids. Our rides are individually instructed with our specialty in safety and horsemanship. Beginners are welcome to start their horseback riding experience under the careful instruction of our trail guides, and experienced riders are encouraged to expand and practice their knowledge of horses and horsemanship with the help of our instructors.

Explore 25 miles of horseback riding trails and the Santa Ana River and San Bernardino Mountains on a private or semi-private ride perfect for riders of all level! Wagon Rides are also available as an addon to the One Hour Trail Ride. We can accommodate groups of up to 20 riders (please call if you have more than 5 riders).

Wagon Ride
Enjoy the perfect family-friendly horse wagon ride suitable for all ages which will take you through the town of Norco. Experience the gorgeous scenery of our unique community filled with local horses and farm animals!

Romantic Sweetheart Horseback Ride
Experience a romantic private ride for two through a bamboo forest on the Santa Ana Riverbed and followed by apple cider, strawberries, roses, and more! Package includes a one hour ride interrupted with a 30 min break over looking the riverbed. You will be served Martinelli's Strawberries and Chocolates. Then return to the barn and receive a vase with roses.

Sunshine and Daydreams is a local, private horseback riding stable created by Sonja Trefethen in 1990 as an alternative to traditional rent strings. Our barn is located in Norco, Horsetown USA at the edge of the Hidden Valley Wildlife preserve.

Sunshine and Daydreams is renowned for it’s specialization in safety and instruction. The majority of Sunshine and Daydreams’ customers are beginners, many of whom have never ridden a horse before. Every rider is individually coached based on their knowledge and practice of correct horseback riding with the purpose of beginning or improving their horsemanship skills.
Sunshine and Daydreams has a very conservative riding policy. This ensures the safety of our riders and the well-being of our horses. We respect the skills of all experienced riders but ask that everyone follow the instruction from our guides as our horses have been trained in a specific manner and deviation from our policy can confuse and stress the horses.
